I had heard of Ann Rule, of course, as a fan of true crime, but never read any of her books until now. I was mesmerized by this story of a woman who may have committed arson, attempted to poison someone, and murdered two children. I didn't know anything about this case, but Rule gets into almost a day-by-day level of detail. This, along with my new favorite podcast, "My Favorite Murder," is feeding my secret true crime obsession!
