Cute romance with characters that don't deviate once they meet. It was pretty close to insta-love, and it's a fast burn too, if that's what you're here for. I find I didn't mind the insta-love that much in this case, but it made for a pretty gentle read with very, very little angst. It also ends on a cute hfn, unless you sign up for the author's email list and read the bonus epilogue.

Didn't like how pushy the MMC was in the beginning. His not taking her no for and answer because he "knows" she doesn't mean it when that's the second time he's ever seen her in his life.....okay. He also pushes her to tell him things anytime he feels like he wants to know. Thankfully that got over with pretty quickly, but for a sec there I was definitely annoyed.

‼️ SPOILERS
Also found it odd that the author chose to introduce the MMC of the next book at 90% into the book??? They had just gotten home from the hospital after a car accident where he thought he lost her for a few moments and they were both injured. But he decides THAT'S an appropriate time to call up a friend from high school that's never been mentioned before now to have dinner THAT NIGHT to talk about nothing important for 5 minutes instead of, idk, taking care of your injured leg, or your injured girlfriend, or worrying about your jobs since she's about to lose hers??? (Notice how she lost hers, but he didn't, and he didn't even mention how the convo about his job went?) He couldn't even tell him the next week would be more convenient? Smh then they go on as if nothing happened.

This is something you add another epilogue on at the very end for, or you introduce the character earlier so that we might actually care about them for the 5 pages they appear on. This completely took me out of the story, and I almost DNFd because it was close enough to the end that I could just skim and get the picture, but I ended up finishing.
