This was a very intriguing read. The concept was super interesting and the way it was utilized was great. I felt for Kya and it was quite emotional at times. I didn't really like Tate. Even though this was set in 1950s and 60s the fact that he dated her and when he was 19 and she was 15 just left a very sour taste in my mouth. Chase was horrible in many ways and the ending of this book reminded me of Last night in Soho. He kinda had it coming. Also the foreshadowing with the fireflies was brilliant. Overall I would recommend this. Just check the content warnings first.
