4.7 stars. This one is tough. There were times I had to walk away for days because of how horrific parts of it were. The author even stats that she left a good amount of the cruelty out, and I can’t even imagine what she didn’t include. That being said, this is a story of triumph. Of not giving up, and to continue even when all hope is lost. Each of these women is so strong, and brave. They survived the worst of the world and played their part to end it. Worth the read, but be prepared.
The author even has an afterward about dark tourism that was very thought provoking.
