loved the worldbuilding, loved the feminism, didn't love the writing style. it was cool to watch paul "i'm not your religious figure" atreides become paul "i'm the kwisatz haderach bitch" muad'dib.
i wish there was more description, i never knew what was going on until after it happened and then i'd have to go back and reread the last page to figure out what just happened. the ending was also SO anticlimactic due to the writing style! things just happened in such a mediocre way, and i felt no emotion whatsoever other than disappointment over things ultimately being THAT easy. it almost felt like a cop-out that i read 700 something pages just for a very unexciting and vague conclusion. good book overall but it could've given more
