Skip Beat!, Vol. 25 by Yoshiki Nakamura
5.0

I can't believe I'm halfway through!!! (At least, in regards to the fact that the most recently released volume in this ongoing series is number 50...)

This is officially the longest I've ever read a manga, with the previous record going to Ouran High School Host Club, at 18. I never thought I'd be able to stay invested in something this lengthy, but here we are, and I'm just as excited to read the next 25 (and more)!!!

This was definitely a major bang of a volume, an explosion of feelings if you will.

Not only do we have an extremely jealous, and sexy, Sho Fuwa, on the hunt for revenge against Kyoko and Reino, we also have a mixed up Ren, we has lots of unrequited love for Kyoko, and is very worried that she might ignore him on Valentine's Day. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

And when Sho actually kissed Kyoko?!? I audibly GASPED!!!!!!! It was so twisted, yet so hot??? My brain is literally in shambles... But wait, Ren also kissed Kyoko? I mean, on the cheek, but it was just as hot!

This is why I love a slow burn, the tiniest, most miniscule things absolutely set my blood on fire, in the best way.

But I can't believe I'm saying this, I actually kind of love Sho. I know he probably won't ever get a redemption arc, but I just love a bad boy that becomes better with time (blame Zuko).

Anyways! So excited for volume 26!!!!!!!
