Black Site by Dalton Fury
3.0
Unfortunately this one isn't as memorable to me as I wanted it to be. I was busy experimenting with new authors in the military/counterterrorism thriller genres at the time, and this was another new foray. It was also the only book I ever read by Fury, despite having had good intentions to read the others later on. I just don't think the characters caught my attention all that much. I didn't gravitate towards them in any particularly positive way. I can remember very little of the book itself. I liked it, but it read slowly, which is unusual for a book of this genre for me.
But one thing it did have going for it was its use of the Delta Force. You don't see many books out there with Delta Force, so this was a nice change and is what drew me to it in the first place. Now that it's been years and my interest in the series and the genre has waned, I probably won't ever continue with it. But I still have the book, so that must speak some volume of truth to its decency, I guess.
