This book had a lot going on. Very tense and thrilling, especially at the beginning, it started to drag towards the end and the twists became more predictable. I appreciated the background on Jay's youth and how it intertwined with radical movements in the 60s. However, Lock  didn't quite stick the landing with the many plot lines. I think the whole union piece could have been cut or else brought to a more interesting and connected resolution.
