I bought the book because I kept seeing so many people talk about it, so I had really high expectations going in. But, oh, Lord. It was downright frustrating. Even though it was tough to get through, it all made sense in the end because the struggles in the story are things that a lot of people, just normal people, experience. It’s frustrating, but in a way, it’s also relatable.

But then again, I really wished there had been more to keep the reader engaged and make the story feel more interesting. I was hoping for a little more excitement or depth to pull me in, something that would build the tension. Without that, it felt a bit flat and I just wanted more to keep me hooked.
