I refuse to continue further than the 60% I slogged through. I'm so pissed at this book. The premise of each story is so captivating and promising, and while the author has mad writing skills, she seemingly does not possess the skill to write an ending, because with each story, I was left confused and wanting.
I saw the paperback version at Half Price Books for $8. Lovely cover with the lemons. I almost bought it but I saw the audiobook was ready to borrow on Libby. And thank Yoda I went that route, because I would've flipped a table over the waste of $8. Never judge a book by its cover, kids.
