The Magic Fish was a beautiful story of an immigrant mother and son with language barriers. 
The artistry was stunning in the drawing/ illustrations. 
I LOVED the Vietnamese spin on popular fairytales like Cinderella and the Little Mermaid. 
Also loved that it was the mother and son’s story interweaved with the fairy tales from the book they were reading.
