Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert

5.0

Talia Hibbert did it again. Completely blew me out of the water with her newest book, the final in the Brown Sisters series.

As tends to be her writing theme, the book is captivating from the very first page. We very quickly fall in love with our heroine Eve Brown along with her exuberant sense of style, eclectic taste in music, and vivacious personality. We also spend a significant amount of time learning about Jacob, Eve's new employer.

This novel is filled with beauty beyond measure. It also offers insight into autism and being on the spectrum including the burdens that individuals who are on the spectrum have to live with. If this is a triggering point, please think twice and tread cautiously before reading the book. For those who do not have personal trauma associated with this particular condition, I highly encourage you to read the book with an open mind because oh what a lovely thing it is to see the world through the lens of others, and walk a mile in their shoes by reading this novel.

Finally, this book is extra steamy, which I found to be a plus; however, for parents who may have this in their home libraries, I would be extra cautious to let your children read this unless of course, they are at an appropriate age.

All in all, this book left me wishing I could move in with Eve and never leave the lives of the Brown Sisters because yes..this book is that good!
