A Touch of Ruin by Scarlett St. Clair
3.0
sad tense fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Complicated
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

There is A LOT of conflict that left unresolved and unexplored, leaving it to feel like an afterthought. The "twist" (it is extremely predictable) at the end could have had more impact as a cliffhanger, but it gets resolved within 2 pages. Let tension build more.
