I just finished 22 Seconds, even though I had to skip 21st Birthday for now because all my library’s copies were checked out. I’ll definitely have to go back and read that one, but I couldn’t wait to dive into the next installment of the Women’s Murder Club series.
This book had a slightly different feel, with a case that felt more intense and urgent. Lindsay finds herself caught up in a dangerous investigation that has major implications, and the tension kept building with every chapter. As always, the short chapters and fast pacing made it an easy book to fly through, but the stakes in this one felt especially high.
I really enjoyed this installment and can’t wait to go back and read 21st Birthday to see what I missed. If you’ve been following the series, this one delivers plenty of action, twists, and suspense to keep you hooked.
