An exciting and mysterious adventure, and I always enjoy a scrappy, smart ass, loveable-rogue MMC. Your Mal Reynold's or Rick O'Connell's.
I really enjoyed all of the characters (especially when they actually used their words, but you know, baggage), the writing was really lovely, and the world was equal parts terrifying and magical - It honestly made me think of Pirates of Deepwater! I'm excited to see where the story goes in the next book.
