There is so much I want to say about this book but I cannot find the words. While the romance is light and fluffy, these characters are so very real it hurts. Opal and Pepper’s neurodivergence is lovely to see represented on the page but the relatability sometimes made it difficult to read as an ND woman myself. I related almost too much and it was both beautiful and heartbreaking. It’ll probably take me way longer than I want to admit to process it all. But I truly did love this book and hope that other ND folks find themselves in it the way I did. <3
