Firstly, I liked that this book was about some side characters in her Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series. This couple was briefly mentioned during book 2 and now I want to know how they relate to those characters within this world.
As for these characters, I really liked Jude. Harper…. She kind of grew on me but I wasn’t the biggest fan. Meh to her but their relationship ended up being something cute as the booked neared the end. I would like to see how their relationship continues in their new setting.
I wouldn’t call this exactly a stepbrother romance. It was, technically, but they met at 18 and had only recently become siblings. I think it was more “taboo” for the other characters if they were to find out.
This was a quick read, I feel like it mostly introduced some side characters into this world. Hoping they make another appearance and we learn more about them and their (potential) roles.
