I enjoyed this book more than the first and thought the main conflicts were stronger. I thought the frank look at concussions in football was also really beneficial. The subplots were the weakest points of the book for me—I didn’t feel the mother subplot got the resolution needed and the stalker storyline felt more like filler—but on the whole I enjoyed this read.
