Beyond Shame
by Kit Rocha
I think I liked what the book kept /saying/ it was about more than what it was actually about. We get all these hints about men and women having total sexual freedom and equal agency, about multiple partners being normalized, about same sex pairings being normalized, and yet... we have a story about a submissive masochist woman who fixates on the first big dominant guy she meets and has lots of well-described but pretty standard heteronormative S&M sex with him.
And yes, she also plays with a woman... while two men are watching and telling her what to do. And yes, she sucks another guy's cock... while "her guy" is watching and approving. And we don't see any men or women who really appear to break the "big dom guy," "little subby/masochist woman" binary.
It's a shame, because the sex is /scorching/ hot.
