I read this after Seijo no Kyūsai (Salvation of a Saint). I'd say the plot in this is a bit more interesting, (though Seijo no Kyūsai held my interest well too). For starters, you know the murderer from the start. And you root for her and wish she doesn't get caught. And she has an almost stalker-like neighbour who offers his help, and she has to take it. The novel's conclusion was surprising. Good for a couple of night's entertainment.
