I was surprised by how sad of a turn the book took. But in a positive way. Kits character development was arguably one of the best parts of the book despite what happened. It really helps him feel fully developed on my eyes in the end. And I really love the way it ended for further closure for him as a character.The push and pull dynamic with the main characters was very well done. It felt like they proper yearned each other while also opening up the possibility to supernatural reasons like them being matted given how it ended. I really enjoy this as the last book, things were wrapped up well.
