I came for the pron, and I stayed for the plot. I expected this book to be an enemies-to-lovers story; however, it turned out to be a retelling of Beauty and the Beast but with sex.
Overall, the characters were interesting, and I didn’t find Nessa to be over-the-top damsel in distress. She grew from an innocent, sheltered teenager on the cusp of adulthood into a sensual, powerful woman in command of her life and making her own choices.
