The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

5.0

I don't know why it has taken me this long to read this book. Even before I had read anything of Wilde, I knew that he was one of my favorite authors due to his many witticisms and sayings. The Picture of Dorian Gray has both of these in spades. It's books like these that made me wish I were back in school, thinking and discussing books in an academic sense, with themes and motifs. There's certainly a lot that can be chiseled away from this book.

The preface alone sparks so many ideas.
