The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot
4.0

the layers, allusions and fabrications within this poem are inciting and theatrical. Had a great time reading it and pondering afterwards. Knowing some of the references and studying them achieved made me feel as though as I was ‘in’ on what Eliot was creating. Overall a strong, thoughtful poem that grapples with fragmentation, ideology, corruption, conflict and quests.
