These Wicked Stars by Catelyn Wilson
4.0
First, I would like to thank Netgalley for reading this book for free for an honest review and that it contains a small spoiler.
It took some time to make me get into the book but if I did, I flew through the rest. On some occasions, I felt that our main character Hazel was a bit naive and reluctant to realize things, but she mentions that herself and therefore does not become as much of a minus.
The relationship between Hazel and Cassian is exactly what you are looking for in this type of book, but I wished it had pulled out a little more at the time before they became so terribly dear, but I also understand that it may not be really possible with how the book's timeline is structured.
If you could give half stars on Goodreads it would have been a 3.5 but it could be rounded up to a four.
