Burning Dawn by Gena Showalter

3.0

It's a vast improvement over the last "Angels of the Dark" installment, but it's still just a so-so addition to a mediocre series. It's choked with one liners and light on plot. My biggest complaint: it feels like there's only one female character in this book. Why? Because while they may have different names and hair colors, they can all be summed up in 3 words: feisty, loud, and shallow. When the 5 members of Elin's "dodge boulder" team are chatting, it sounds more like one character talking to herself.
