This book started off engaging, but I found the culprit’s identity too easy to predict, which took away some of the suspense. That said, there were still a few surprises—Ingrid’s location, in particular, caught me off guard. As a devoted Riley Sager fan, I had high expectations, but the premise felt a bit overdone, making this a somewhat disappointing read. While it was a quick and entertaining book, it’s not one that will leave a lasting impression.
