This book… this fucking book. Sweet mother in heaven. SJ wrote the perfect man for a damn near perfect woman who overcame so many odds and Nero took care of her, he loved her. But in his brokenness they healed each other. He is definitely a touch you and die alpha which is also hot as hell. I love mafia romances and I think this would be a great beginner into treading the walls of this genre. Things were spicy. The scene where he takes her virginity and licks the blood should be gross but why did my body think that was hot? SJ has a way of writing scenes that make you think about yourself a little bit and your desires 🤣. I loved the chemistry between these two. It was electric. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and hopefully they make an appearance.
