This was another good collection. It started out really strong I feel, but the stories tapered off towards the last quarter of the book. I also wish there had been more authors who were women - it seemed very male-heavy this time around. Still, I had some favourites as always, which I will now list: Admitted by Kevin Cathy (clever idea), Passing the torch by RJ Roles (creepy!), Too Many by Valerie Lioudis (loved this, especially the last line), Number Thirteen by D.S. Ullery (so eerie), Blood and Ashes by Kerry E.B. Black (beautiful and lyrical), Next-Door by Robin Braid (so unsettling!), Stray by P.J. Blakey-Novis (loved the last line!), The Evacuation by Chris Hall (this was really clever), and Nothing by Chad Lutzke (the last two paragraphs, OMG).
