THIS is what a taboo romance is SUPPOSED to be! it’s uncomfortable, it’s questionable, it’s heart racing, it’s intriguing. it’s not supposed to make you feel good or be cute and light and fluffy

“when the world feels small, nothing can hurt you. you want to stay there because you’re protected.. but then you realize you’re the only one who fits there in that small world, and being alone is worse than not feeling safe.”

ive read a handful of taboo romances but this one takes the cake, it’s unlike any other where you actually think about it & second guess yourself

i dont understand how anyone could not like this book???? it was phenomenal, i loved every page of it. the forced proximity was done well, it gave the mystery vibe around Kaleb, the golden retriever attitude of Noah was adorable, the tension with Jake was so good

this is probably my guilty pleasure book and my new standard to taboo romances, if it doesn’t make me feel slightly uncomfortable, it’s just a romance story
