I loved this book, although lengthy, it is exactly the style of book I seem to like a lot. I learned a lot about the history between Korea and Japan, and the experiences of Koreans in Japan. The ending of the book came somewhat abruptly, but it didn't make me dislike the book so much to take off a star away from the review.
