I'm growing tired of this trope. Hyacinth is one of the most outspoken and vivacious of the Bridgerton clan, yet her compliance with this man is ridiculous. He plainly states he means to entrap her in marriage and reveals that to her. Yet when she finds this out she has no reaction at all. I think that it would have been much better for Hyacinth to be the only Bridgerton who stays single and enjoys her life without a partner.
