I think because I’ve read more modern texts on feminism both nonfiction and fiction this didn’t feel quite as revolutionary as it perhaps would have being new to feminism as a whole. I recognize that is sort of the point and likely would have been more impactful in the early 2000s but I still was expecting something new to be explored here. It felt pretty repetitive in terms of the content and the action items throughout too.
