I wanted a sad book that would break and shatter my heart. Safe to say I found it. This is a wonderful book and I honestly don’t know if knowing that they both die at the end makes it better or worse. It was very nice to get to know Mateo and Rufus.

After 2n read
I don't remember crying this much when I read it for the first time. Maybe it's so much sadder now because I have already lost Mateo and Rufus once before and because I know what's going to happen. Whatever the reason: I cried a lot. A lot lot. So much. It hurt more than the first time around.
all for a cup of tea, honestly.
