Juniper Unraveling
by Julie Belfield, Keri Lake
Okay one of the best books I've ever read!
Wow this tugs on your heart in SO MANY ways. I used to love dystopian, but since the world's become a bit too dystopian for my liking I strayed away for a few years. This was a great way to hit that genre again. The characters were so complex and completely riveting. The flashbacks were perfectly placed, and it was truly an emotional rollercoaster. It was very very dark, but I could appreciate that and the realization that this could very well be real, and it is not too far off from atrocities humanity has already faced. It's a great reminder to enjoy what we have, but to always be a little cautious, because when power gets into the wrong hands trouble begins. Amazing work.
