We start this book out with a look into Danny's history, when he graduated from the police academy. We learn about who Danny is. Who or what is Miranda? What is her relationship if any to Danny? We come back to the present day and find Danny still drinking, like he was at the end of book one. What is haunting him now that continues causing him to drink so? Wow, I was so not expecting Miranda's story to come out, but it makes sense with the title of the book. What happens with Angelica, Miranda and Daniel after Miranda and Daniel see one another at the PID office? What happens when she follows him home and knocks on his door to 'talk'? What do they find out from the partially shifted werewolves? Why does Fiona want so much power? What does she want with Danny? Who is Leander to her? What is Leander? This book ends on a cliff hanger, just after you find out who and what Leander is. Be prepared. I cannot wait for part three!
