Nana narrates this tale of his journey alongside his owner. As a cat owner parts of the story had me in my feels when although I didn’t shed any tears I felt the weight of the not so subtle outcome.
I was torn by the way some of the characters came across, but I cannot judge them by their flaws as the point is for those to be overcome.
All in all a nice introspective story, something I’ve come to find a common theme in some modern Japanese translated literature.

Minor: Animal death
