Never Use Futura by Douglas Thomas

As a history of a Futura, this book excels. The wide range of illustrations and examples was very informative, and serves as a thorough sampling of how this font has been and could be used.
I think that more comparison to other fonts, similar or different, could have better highlighted features of Futura. Later in the book, the author shows some Kabel that could easily be mistaken for Futura, and I realized I couldn't tell the difference (maybe I just didn't read carefully enough early on?). More examples contrasting Futura to other similar fonts could help me better make accurate identifications in the wild.
All in all, a quick, thorough, and enjoying visual history.
