The Memory Thief: The Past Is a Maze. She Is the Key.
by Lauren Mansy
Mediocre narration, confusing narrative, lack of world building... luckily this book was short I guess. The pacing was a travesty - Etta fell in love over like 9 minutes and the battle was even shorter, and yet somehow the denouement was 1000 years long! Give it a pass, especially if someone trying to convey an entire history’s worth of meaning into the word “father” will drive you as crazy as it did me.
