. I real enjoyed this story and thought the romance was good. Enna was a complex character and despite her job title, a big softy. Soren yearning for Enna was everything I wanted. I also enjoyed the world as I’ve never read a book with sirens and mermaids in it with different sections of the sea divided. The antagonist was a bit lack lustre for me as I didn’t completely understand her motivation and it seemed a bit random which is why it is not a higher rating.
