This book is a collection of 50 short biographies each followed by a prayer said by the individual described.
The bios are succinct, taking up no more than a page and 1/2. The prayers are only one page each. It did not take long for me to finish. One could, perhaps, use at as a short devotional book, reading a chapter for 50 days.
Oh, and I also must mention the colorful painted illustrations for each person described. They were very well done.
So, basically, it’s a simple and quick read, but I enjoyed learning, even briefly, about some of Christianity’s most faithful evangelicals from around the world.
