I’m not always a huge fan of books which take place over a very short time span because they either stress me out or I feel as though I’m the one looking at the clock thinking “hurry up already”
This book leaned more towards the “hurry up already” side. I absolutely LOVED the book No Exit by the same author and perhaps because I loved it so much I might have had high expectations.
This book isn’t bad. It’s well written, flows nicely and is an easy read but it lacked the stress and tension I thought it would have. My husband read this book before me and comparing notes afterwards, he felt the same.
I also had a hard time envisioning all the McGyvered things they did
