The Match: A Novel
by Sarah Adams
3.5⭐️
This has been my least favorite Sarah Adams book so far which makes me sad. She just got too suggestive and far with the tension make out scenes for me. So much do the relationship seemed like lust after each others bodies which was annoying.
But I did really enjoy the service dog plot line, connecting to his daughter with epilepsy, the rep for that I really enjoyed in this. The toxic family situation she had tried to get away from I felt like was done pretty well also. The characters had a lot of connection emotionally, I just felt like the author decided to dive more into the physical side when writing it than the emotional and that bothered me.
I loved the epilogue though, that was super cute. The writing didn’t catch me quite as much in this one as it has in others. Not as many laugh out loud moments for me, but still a good few.
*low spice? - closed door w/ suggestive dialogue and description but no explicit intimate scenes.
