I enjoyed the first couple of chapters but I didn’t feel like the plot or the characters were particularly compelling. The fact that the story moved quite quickly was in its favour as I contemplated DNF it. I did like that Edward was neurodivergent and Georgiana is a gem AND I enjoyed her mom/Aunt Agatha, but overall it was very surface-level. Felt like I was told a lot of stuff instead of shown.
