Pulse by Adriana Locke

5.0

“Pulse” is the first book in Adriana Locke’s new series, Landry Security. It’s a workplace/age gap romance featuring Troy Castelli and his assistant, Dahlia Lovelace.

Adriana Locke has worked her way onto my list of favorite authors, specifically because once I start one of her books, it becomes almost impossible to put it down!

Troy and Dahlia had been dancing around each other for the entire two years they’d known each other, but neither one of them had actually made a move before the events of this book.

I thought this was was such a great read! Troy and Dahlia were such an amazing couple, and I could see their connection from their very first scene.

I loved that as soon as Troy realized Dahlia was in danger, he went into full protector mode. No one could doubt his loyalty or his devotion, and it was incredibly swoony.

As for Dahlia, I loved how she somehow managed to maintain optimistic despite all the chaos in her life. She was quirky and fun, and she was unapologetically herself. 5 freaking stars!!!
