Did not finish book.
Tan pronto como leí el diálogo de "puedes venir a las escaleras y verme salir si quieres", terminé de leer el primer capítulo, y lo abandoné. Una chica criada de esta manera no sentiría tanta admiración por su madre, y el diálogo me pareció tan ridículo que debería ser imposible. Si le agrego el hecho de que la autora solo va a escribir sobre villanos blancos (racista), es suficiente como para hacerme abandonar la saga del todo.
As soon as I read the line "you can come to the stairs and watch me leave if you'd like," I finished reading the first chapter, and put it down. A girl raised this way wouldn't have such admiration for her mother, and the dialogue seemed so ridiculous to me that it should be impossible. Add in the fact that the author is only going to write about white villains (racist), that's enough to make me abandon the series altogether.
