The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

5.0

I loved the book and don't get me wrong after reading my rant.

It amazes me that there will be communities that will see women as only a maid and a mother. Don't give them any voice. Just the all almighty men being the Lord of the men where women are isolated and just kept for their needs. I know it is not the main point of the book (maybe it is, honestly I would love to discuss this with someone) but I could not pass by this topic.

But in contrast there was a place where women were in charge rather than men and it seemed to function (until it didn't [yeah yeah I'll put the spoiler alert so if you read this and got spoiled it's on you])

And I was so mad at Todd at the beginning obviously then he had a character development (and thank fuck because otherwise I would have dnf the book). Don't even get me started on Manchee, he deserved better (I literally cried at one point, poor bebe).

Well anyway this would be all. Thanks for reading if you read lol. See ya later
