There were some huge inconsistencies in the book:
This happened in the last part of this book, so it didn't affect the reading of the first book or the second book, in fact. It's a huge mistake, but if you ignore that, it doesn't detract from the story. I still really enjoy the books so far. I wonder if it will be explained in the third book though.

Isolde's baby is not the first hybrid baby, Ariel is also a Partial and was pregnant and gave birth in the first part of the first book, her baby didn't survive.This happened in the last part of this book, so it didn't affect the reading of the first book or the second book, in fact. It's a huge mistake, but if you ignore that, it doesn't detract from the story. I still really enjoy the books so far. I wonder if it will be explained in the third book though.
