One for All by Lillie Lainoff
5.0

I haven’t had POTS my whole life. It’s still new. I’m still trying to find my feet amid the dizziness. And finding this book during a random twitter pitch contest in which Lillie Lainoff was advocating for disabled writers felt like a dizziness dream—16th century France? Genderbent three musketeers? The main character has POTS? Sounds too good to be true. But, dear reader. My expectations were not high enough! Holy crap did I love this book. I want my whole family to read this book—both for the story and for the very authentic way POTS was portrayed. But it also means the world to me—a newly disabled POTSie girl, who still finds it hard to believe I’ll ever be able to do much again—to see a girl like me? Saving France? Guess I’m going to start going to the SCA fencing nights at the park a few cities away now!

finished second read through. still amazing
