A horror story? Yes, definitely, but - and this may seem like a weird thing to say - NOS4A2 is also a story about the strength of love. I was horrified as much as my heart was warmed. While the book is a slow burn, you are thrown into the action pretty immediately, and it’s worth every minute of the read. Excellent writing, well-paced, had me hooked from the start. I listened to the audiobook, performed by Kate Mulgrew, and her read was *chef’s kiss* impeccable.
